World Cup 2014

World Cup 2014 is over!!! And yes... GERMANY is a new world cup champion!!!

Team yg saya sokong sejak tahun 1990 lagi. After 24 years, they won the World Cup again. Kalau dulu team di bawah bimbingan Franz Beckenbauer mengalahkan Argentina 1-0, kali ini team Joachim Loew menumpaskan Argentina  dengan 1-0 juga hasil jaringan Mario Gotze. Kalau dulu saya tengok final game ni sorang2 kat rumah...tapi pagi tadi tgk dgn hubby. Dan dia pulak nakkan Argentina menang...huh!! Mujur kami tak 'berperang!' :D

The Germans deserved it!! Laluan mereka in the beginning macam smooth aje. In Group G matches... they became no 1 with 7 points after defeated Portugal 4-0, defeated USA 1-0 and draw with Ghana 2-2.  

During round 16... they had to struggle to defeat The Algerians 2-1. Masa ni, saya berbelah bahagi sikit...saya sokong Germany tapi kalau Algeria menang pun, saya sokong jugak. Baru la ada twist & drama dlm world cup kali ni. Baru thrill sikit bila underdog team kalahkan team besar!! ;)

Masuk quarter final...they won over France 1-0. Masuk semi final...saya rasa suspen sbb mereka akan berdepan dgn tuan rumah. Tapi bila minit ke7 aje Muller dah score... I got the feeling they can make it to the final. And I was right after the big winning of 7-1 over Brazil. 

Actually, I was hoping for Germany to meet Holland for the final. Masa tu baru boleh nampak which team is really the best. Sbb saya rasa, Holland pun cemerlang kali ni. Awal2 dah 'bungkus' Spain 5-2. Lepas tu, menang penalty 4-3 dgn Costa Rica... a tough fight. Tapi sayang, Holland kalah dgn Argentina peringkat semi final. They played better...but they didnt have the luck! Tapi kalau Germany vs Holland... saya tetap akan sokong Germany. Tapi kalau Holland menang... saya sokong Holland...hahaha...tetiba jadi lalang! :P

• This is the third World Cup final between Germany and Argentina. They met in successive finals in 1986 and 1990, with each team lifting the title (3-2 Argentina in 1986, 1-0 Germany in 1990).
• Miroslav Klose has scored more World Cup goals than any other player in history and as many as the entire current Argentinian squad (16).
• Müller (2010 and 2014) and Klose (2002 and 2006) are the only players in history to score 5+ goals at consecutive World Cup tournaments.

Bila berakhirnya World Cup... maka lepas ni tak adalah lagi 'hiburan' semasa bersahur...hehe. Bolehlah fokus semula pada manuskrip yang tertangguh itu ya..!! Tapi lps ni nak raya pulak dah...agenda dan timing sure berubah lagi. Isk...isk...byk betul dugaan nak siapkan manuskrip ke 7 nih!! ;)
