Test drove

Sudah lama sebenarnya nak test drive Peugeot 308 Turbo ni... tapi selalu je tak jumpa masa yg sesuai. Bukannya nak beli pun... the needs of changing a new car at this point of time is not necessary (bukannya ada penambahan gaji atau penambahan anak...hu hu) tapi sesuka aje nak test drive. So last Saturday, kami 3 beranak main redah aje ke Bluebox Glenmarie.... just to try our luck.

As the result, berjaya jugak tekan minyak 'lion' yg seekor ini . And seriously, with the price of RM118,xxx... memang best Pug ni!!

I'm not going to review in details on the performance (sebab bukan pandai sgt pun) But as someone who has been driving/driven/test drove Pug (206, 306 & 407), I must admit that this car is just SO perfect and fun to drive! It's just 1.6 litre... but it's 156 horsepower (almost similar to Mitsu Lancer GT which is 155 bhp... i think) 0-100km accelaration is 8.8 seconds. Hah... laju/power ke tak tuh? ;) From KD to Alai Melaka (nak makan ikan bakar) sejam lebih sikit dah bleh sampai kot?? Hehe

Apa yg saya suka:

~Easy to maneuver (walaupun body besar tapi tak terasa berat pun)

~Superb suspension (Pug is known for it's good suspension)

~6 speed transmission

~6 airbags

~Spacious Interior (Kalau duduk kat belakang lama-lama tu, tak terasa sgt la kaki kejang...hehe)

~ Panoramic sunroof (yg ni paling best saya rasa. Kalau drive siang beratapkan langit yg membiru dan awan yang memutih. Kalau drive malam, bagai bertemankan bulan dan bintang!! Huh...ayat novel pulak dah!)

As the conclusion... LOVE to drive it!! But to own/buy it... not at the moment. Have to bear in mind, maintaining the continental cars (in general) and Pug (particularly) is NOT cheap (unless you can really afford it) Pengalaman saya, menjaga 'kebajikan dan hal ehwal' suku sakat keturunan 'lion' ni memang kena 'makan hati' sikit... hu hu.
