UEFA Champions League

Saya tak plan pun nak tengok atau temankan husband menonton MU dan Chelsea bermain utk merebut trofi Champions League awal pagi tadi. Walaupun berminat, tapi fikir balik... alahai, buang masa jer tengok. Naluri saya mengatakan Chelsea akan menang... haha... macam la hebat sgt naluri saya tu! Tapi saya terjaga sendiri pukul 4.30 pagi... dah masuk second half. Sudahnya... tertengok jugak akhirnya!

Siap buat kopi O panas... makan dgn bread butter pudding, menyaksikan detik2 cemas bila semua peluang MU tersasar. Tambahan masa 30 minit bila masih terikat 1-1... dan akhirnya ditentukan dgn tendangan penalty. Masa tu pun, saya dan husband masih rasa Chelsea berpeluang utk menang. Memandangkan pada pendapat kami, Edwin Van de Sar tak terror sgt save penalty kick ni. Especially bila Ronaldo missed the penalty... mangkuk betul la mamat tu, sama ada dia over confident atau terlalu gabra!

Tapi akhirnya, MU menang juga dgn 6-5 sepakan penalty. Edwin Van de Sar saves a penalty kick by Chelsea's Anelka. And before that, by John Terry. Wow... MU won 2 titles for this season!

Sorry to all Chelsea fans... spt kata Kieran di radio ERA pagi tadi.. "pagi yg gelap utk penyokong Chelsea" ... antaranya; adik ipar dan anak buah saya! Haha

And now, I am very... very... sleepy! Memandangkan saya sudah mengisi perut seawal 4.30 pagi dgn bread butter pudding, which can be considered as sahur... maka saya yg berpuasa hari ni boleh la tido sekejap lunch time nanti...

Devils Champions!

Berakhirnya musim EPL malam semalam dengan kemenangan bergaya Manchester United mengalahkan Wigan 2-0 dan terus menjulang trofi buat kali ke 17 (yang ke 10 di bawah pengurusan Sir Alex Furgeson) Sepakan penalti Ronaldo dan tendangan Giggs menentukan kejayaan malam semalam. Tak sia-sia Furgeson menurunkan kesebelasan utamanya.

Kalau tanya saya apa perasaan bila berakhirnya EPL ni, saya ada jawapan yang suka dan tidak, pro dan contra.

Pro/Suka:

~ tak perlu lagi re-schedule rancangan malam minggu sbb dah tak ada game yg mesti tengok terutama game yg melibatkan MU!

~ tak ada lagi stress 'monday morning blues' bila MU kalah!

~ tak perlu berebut channel tv

~ saya boleh berjaga sampai lewat malam... dan saya boleh bangun lewat pagi Ahad... dgn alasan, "kan I temankan u tengok bola malam tadi!"

Contra/Tak Suka:

~no more saturday night excitement... so, we have to create another excitement!

~ no more kutuk mengutuk dgn Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool fans... that was fun, actually!

~ tak dapat lagi tengok Alex Furgeson melompat2 sambil kunyah chewing-gum bila anak didiknya menjaringkan goal. I admire that man.. he's an enthusiast manager on the field!

~I have no reason to stay up late... and getting up late on Sunday morning! Argh....

Sebagai anak, sambutan hari Ibu kami tidaklah semeriah mana tapi cukup bermakna. Semalam saya dan kakak2 berkumpul di rumah mak. Sebenarnya, mak saya baru discharge dari hospital hari Sabtu lepas. Sejak dimasukkan pada hari Khamis yang lalu kerana demam yang tak kebah2... suspected dengue. Walaupun dia dah beransur sihat sikit... tapi dia masih perlukan rawatan susulan utk penyakit2 yg baru kami ketahui. Hasil drp full check up tempoh hari. Hope everything will be fine for her. She's a strong lady...I'll know she'll make it through.


Sebagai mak, sambutan Hari Ibu pun biasa aje. AHA tepuk dahi semalam... "Alamak, lupa nak buat kad Hari Ibu utk mama!"Saya gelak aje. And I told her, the card is not that important... but being a good daughter and study hard for her upcoming mid year exam is much more important than anything else! Dia terkebil-kebil dgr saya cakap...entah faham entahkan tidak!

Minggu sakit...

Three of us are down with flu. Started from my husband, then followed by AHA and now, it's my turn.

Bila saya kena selsema memang teruk, lebih2 lagi saya mmg ada mild sinus. Kepala dan muka terasa berdenyut-denyut. Hidung sudah hilang fungsi sebagai deria bau. Mujur telinga yg hampir pekak ni masih boleh membezakan bunyi ekzos kereta. Either it's the sound of a skyline, citroen zx or just proton wira! Haha... Thank God for that!

Disebabkan tuan rumah sakit, maka 'rumah' saya ni pun dah lama tak berkemas dan mula nak bersawang! Nanti bila saya dah sihat sikit... saya akan kemas rumah ni betul-betul dan update dengan perkembangan yg menarik...if there's any!
