Apa-apa pun, terima kasih kpd pihak ALAF... kerana memberi peluang utk saya bertemu pembaca novel MK & KT yang berada jauh di Brunei.
Pengalaman tiga hari di Stadium Negara Hasanal Bolkiah, memang best! The crowd was fantastic! Memang saya kagum dgn sebilangan pembaca setia novel Alaf yg sanggup datang dgn berbeg-beg buku minta ditandatangan. Not just that, kalau tertinggal novel kat rumah... mereka sanggup datang semula esok hari semata-mata utk mendapatkan tandatangan penulis! SEMANGAT mereka tu buatkan saya juga turut berSEMANGAT! Dan bila ada di antara mereka yg beri souvenir dan sebagainya, memang saya terharu! Didnt expect to be appreciated in such a way... memandangkan saya masih baru di dalam bidang penulisan ni. Apa-apa pun, jutaan terima kasih saya ucapkan...
Ini antara gambar2 yg sempat dirakamkan.
Hari pertama, Jumaat 6hb Mac
Hari kedua, Sabtu 7hb Mac
Hari ketiga, Ahad 8hb Mac
Pagi Ahad tu, sempat jugaklah jalan-jalan sekejap. Ambil2 gambar...
Ops sorry... tersesat pulak gambar Audi A4 ni! Hehe... well, I couldn't stop myself from taking this pix... gatal aje tangan ni nak ambil gambar! Masa tu tgh jalan2 kat The Mall. Kebetulan ada Audi Motorshow... dan saya apa lagi, ambil kesempatan utk duduk di driver's seat, snapped a photo and immediately sent MMS to my husband... "I'm inside the new Audi A4!". Dan dia jawab "Bawak la balik M'sia dua biji ke..." Hehehe.... kami mmg sewel kalau pasal kereta!!

Salam nacha,
Hehe... membelek kereta tu favourite past time!
Ha'ah tu la, tak sangka yg Yanti pun gang u all... baru hari tu dia cerita.
Tekaan anda tepat sekali... hehe! Supposedly flight pukul 8.15, tapi sudahnya take off pkl 11.30! Jenuh menunggu!
alahai!! kesiannya kat you. kitorang pun sama je. pergi & balik pun delay. tapi tak la melebihi 1 jam. masa pergi tu ok lg la. tapi balik tu konon2 nak order makanan kat dlm flight. tapi hampeh. makanan sume habis & tinggal maggi je. maggi pun maggi la. tak sanggup nak berlapar sampai ke KLIA.
nacha,
Tu la... nak buat camana. U get wat u paid la, kan? Nak murah punya pasal... hehe.
I baca u punya blog... kononnya nak mkn nasi lemak, ek? Sudahnya dpt mkn maggi... itu pun last minute, kan? Kesian you all...
Assalamualaikum
Hai Kak Hezzy. ehehe. I was at the book fair in Brunei but I honestly didn't know that you're gonna be there so I didn't bring any of my novels *cries* but nasib baik I haven't bought your latest book so I purchased one and ask for your signature. Happynye!! But I wish I could have been there earlier so I could come back WITH my novels.
By the way, I'm a shy person, so I didn't really react much when I met you, simply ask for your signature and I think I might muttered something unintelligent. :p
Trima kasih for the signature and for your visit in Brunei. I'm soooo happy!
and believe me... you have many fans here in Brunei. Semoga berjaya with everything you do.
Sorry for speaking in English (with a bit of Malay there). My writing in standard Malay isn't good. When it comes to writing in Malay, it tends to get too Brunei-ish, so you you might not understand a word. ehehe
Salam Kiki Kiari,
U were there?? Yang mana satu ye? Wish I could remember...
Terima kasih juga atas sokongan Kiki dan semua pembaca novel di Brunei yg ramah mesra. Your hospitality makes me feel like home :)
P/S: Malay or English can be used in this blog.. hehe. Tapi ok jugak kalau Kiki gunakan bahasa Melayu. Boleh akak belajar bahasa Malay Brunei-ish tu... :)
Kiki... hm... maybe u remember, but maybe not... haha... Sya yg hari tu, last day dtg... Sya pakai baju kurung modern n bertudung AND selendang. lol. Baju ketat sikit, tu lah pakai selendang jadinya... :p You just added me on FB. I have my picture there. :p
My little sister is MAD about your first book, but have yet to read your second book. Not now though because I'm still re-reading that book. hahaha... It was great, but I wish you could add a bit more... Sya nak sangat read the part where Regina meets her husband and the reaction... Mesti romantik giler. :D
Salam Kiki,
Akak dah tengok Kiki di FB. Walaupun tak berapa jelas, tapi boleh ingat sikit-sikit.
Say thanx to your little sister for her MADness about Melodi Kasih :)
Re-reading KT?? Sure boleh hafal dialog ni! Kalau akak buat contest, gerenti Kiki boleh menang punya! Hehe. Teringin jugak nak sambung sikit pasal Ridzwan-Regina tu... tapi nanti jadi never ending story pulak... takut meleret-leret. Err.. tapi Ridzwan tu romantik ke? ;p
Ahaks. Ingat sikit2 tu kira ok lah :p
Oh, I will... Ki baru je hantar adik kat airport. Nk pergi cuti (sambil belajar) kat KL musim cuti ne. Ki ambik kesempatan lah suruh beli at least 5 more novels there (kalau lebih lagi, lagi bagus :P ). Kat sana murah sikit. :D
Re-reading... yeah. Ki suka baca novel berulang kali. The first book that I bought was "Pergilah Sepi" and I think I might have read it hundred times... hahaha.. Tapi sayangnye buku 2 my cousin pinjam months ago and Ki malu lah pulak nak minta. :p Tu lah tengah hunting novel tu kat kedai, tapi no luck...
Contest ye? Ish, tk dapat lah 2.. Ki ne pemalu :P and dialogue 2 tak lah hafal, tapi kalau nak cari certain part kat novel, tak sampai seminit pun dah boleh dapat...
Ridzwan tu romantik and manja (especially with his mom... So cute!) but very impatient and uncertain. Tapi Akmal pun ada jugak moment of uncertainty fasal Najwa tu... Aiya. Guess they do share the same feelings when it comes to women. :P I'm not so fond of guy having feelings towards two women at the same time, but utk novel ne, it's acceptable. :P Dunno why, but I just love the novel. hehe. Perhaps because the ending was perfect for each character. Actually, the ending was perfect, tak payah le nak tambah banyak2. cuma Ki curious je HOW Regina would act when she sees her husband and son... Melutut kah dia.. :P
I've read Fauziah Ashari's novel Ombak Rindu, and now she has more books following the first one and I just don't have the heart to read more after the first one. Too much drama after the "happy ending" from the first novel isn't really a good idea. Cukup lah satu novel fasal the couple tu, Ki dah HAPPY sangat with the ending -- so, tak sangup nak "tengok" rumah tangga mereka diganggu lagi. Tapi kalau couple tu ada muncul kat new novel about OTHER couple (mungkin sebagai kawan baik the main characters), I would definitely read it. Like how the european novelists tend to do.
Regina is a nice character... I like her, even though sometimes ada rasa nak tampar dia. haha. Ki siap sumpah lagi... Marisa and Akmal tu ROMANTIK lah!! *in love* Tapi my favorite character is Akmal. He's soooo cute and funny. :D
Sorry... I'm babbling :p
Ooh. Lupa nak cakap. Nak cakap syabas with the way Ridzwan "hukum" Regina... He insinuating that she ought to be away from him... lebih kurang macam tu lah. Tu a bit like cara Nabi hukum isterinya. :D Very clever.
Salam Kiki,
Hey... u r not babbling... but u r giving a very fantastic and fair comments, instead! Tnx girl!
Akak rasa happy bila Ki boleh terima jalan cerita yg simple dan dpt terima watak2 dlm KT...(i.e Ridzwan yg manja dgn mummynya but at the same time impatient & uncertain, Akmal yg funny, Regina yg ada masa buat kita geram sampai nak tampar2! hehe)Kerana itu sebahagian realiti yg akak cuba tonjolkan. Nobody is perfect, there must be flaw here and there. Tapi tak semestinya, kalau dia jahat... dia akan jahat sampai bila-bila, kan? Bila diberi peluang dan pengajaran yg setimpal, kemungkinan utk berubah pasti ada.
Dan tentang cara Ridzwan 'hukum' Regina tu... tat was the only thing I could think of while writing KT. Sebab bagi akak, Regina tu boleh dilenturkan, cuma kena pandai gunakan cara yg terbaik. And thanx again because u can see what I wanted to show/potray.
P/S: Regina tak melutut bila jumpa Ridzwan... mungkin terus sujud kot? :)
Salam Kak...
hehe. Ki memang babbling lah... I tend to do so everytime I got excited about stuff... but babbling is a good thing in my dictionary :P
*anguk2* memang betul lah tu. Sejahat2 manusia, akhirnya sedar jugak bila dh mendapat hidayahNYA. I like it better when they learn something from their mistakes/sins... I remember reading a novel dimana watak "villain"nya dihukum dengan cara yg amat2 mengerikan (I think in Kau yg Satu), Ki tak sampai hati lah pulak nak baca that part. :( Tapi dah jahat sangat tu, memang acceptable lah hukuman tu, but still extreme. Tak berkesempatan pulak nak taubat... :(
ahaks. Regina sujud ye? Ish, hope bukan kat airport... Malunye Ki if Ki baca part tu. aha. Ki pulak yang malu. hahaha
Dah melarat lah pulak. ahaks. Ki ne kalau cakap fasal buku, movies or TV show, memang tak nak stop. My blog pun smua fasal minat Ki menulis dan photoshopping. Takde yg personal sangat. haha. Review aje. Tak pernah tulis review utk buku tapi ne ada keinginan menulis full review utk the recent books I read. hahaha
Seronok tak kat Brunei? I see that you went to Kampung Air or kat masjid SOAS je or Komplex Yayasan... Ki msa kecik2 tngal dekat2 dengan masjid tu... Nenek Ki asal orang Kampung air. Sayangnya, rumah nenek dh dirobohkan utuk pembinaan komplex yayasan tu...
and you went to Masjid Jame Hassanal Bolkiah, ye? Kat sana banyak pancutan air. Ki mengaji kat sana masa kecik2 dlu. Habis je mengaji, Ki suka sangat main2 air kat sana. Balik rumah, dah basah kuyup dh, dh tu kena marah. hahaha
Salam Kiki,
Haha... yeah, true! People tend to react in different ways when they got excited... tak pe, akak faham! :)
Akak setuju dgn Ki. Sbb kadang2 rasa tak smpai hati pulak nak 'menghukum' watak2 villain tu lebih2. Nilai kemanusian tinggi kot! Hahahaha. Pasal Regina sujud tu, I was just exaggerating... hehe
Yup... went for a short visit to Masjid SOAS & Masjid Jame Hassanal Bolkiah. Both masjid cantik. Seronok kalau bercuti di Brunei sbb very quiet, unlike KL. InsyaALLAH, kalau ada rezeki nak dtg lagi... byk tempat tak sempat singgah hari tu.
Salam kak,
Ki tau lah kak exaggerate je... Tak kan lah sampai sujud. Habis2 pun, mungkin peluk kaki Ridzwan. :p
Kalau pegi Brunei, bagi tau ki... :p (hahaha. Ki ne pemalu, habis2 Ki tersipu2 je kalau jumpa kak Hezzy lagi) hahaha.
Kalau banyak simpanan, pegi stay kat Hotel Empire. Besar kat sana. Ki ada rasa2 nak menginap sana bila dh dpt duit. :P Lepas kahwin agaknye... hahaha... ne kerja pun belum.
Salam Kiki,
Will let u know, if I were to be in Brunei again. Nak mintak Ki jadi tour guide, boleh? Hehe...
Tour guide eh? If dalam 3 or so years, I might think about that. *batuk* Ki ne, is a home person, so I don't go out a lot. Banyak interesting places Ki belum lawati. Perhaps after Ki dapat driving lesen, baru Ki pegi tempat2 tu... Bila dah khatam, baru boleh jdi "tour guide". haha
Kiki,
Hehe... tak ada lesen lagi sebenarnya! Tak pe la... beritau jer mana tempat yg best kalau akak ke sana lagi.
